Microsoft.flightsimulator. SimConnect, Publickey Token = "31BF3856AD364E35",
version = "10.0.60905.0", processorArchitecture= "x86", culture = "neutral"".

The game is the deluxe edition, which I have just bought and I'm running XP

Many thanks for your reply, the thread was most helpful. In the end I had to
delete the .net Framework 1.1 and the hotfix files and restart the computer.
When the game installed it created .net Framework 1.0 Hotfix and works fine!

Again, thank you for your quick response, it was greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

Be sure to use a DVD drive, as the disk is not a CD.

Ya put it in my DVD drive, it spins for 10 seconds, then stops and won't let
me open the tray, nothing pops up on the screen either. Then when I try to
open a program it basically stops me from doing anything and I have to
restart.....

Check whether it's your DVD drive's fault by seeing if the same thing
happens on somebody else's computer. Some older drives can't read the
disk. If the other computer's drive can read the disk without freezing
up, that's your answer. If no drive can read the disk, it could be a
defective disk. Take it back and ask for an exchange.
